About Us
Waterfront is a registered charity that works to support the community. The concept was originally formed in 1998 as a training area for a small group of friends who enjoyed socialising through training together. Today Waterfront works with local, regional and national partners to tackle a wide range of social issues ranging from inactivity to anti-social behaviour, utilising sports as the vehicle for positive change.

What we do
Waterfront has grown to be a community venue engaging mainstream and hard to reach groups. Delivering to individuals and communities our programmes aim to develop physical and mental wellbeing, whilst encouraging confidence and increased self-esteem. In addition to our on-site sessions, we work with schools, colleges, universities and religious faith groups.

Testimonials
Leicester College have been working with the Waterfront to help deliver our recreational sports offer over the past 18 months. In this time Tara, Nik and Michael have all delivered engaging boxing sessions to a variety of students and have tailored sessions to suit everyone and any space. The sessions have proved to be extremely successful with students and provided many positive outcomes. I would highly recommend using the coaches at the waterfront if you are considering introducing recreational boxing in any setting.
Having worked with Waterfront for 2 years as part of the UoL Boxing Society, I was very impressed with their approach. Right from the beginning we could tell they were a warm, hard working and accommodating team. And now two years on, we have maintained a great relationship with them.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank waterfront for bringing your team on board to support our events. To provide young people living in a deprived area the opportunity to try new sports with education value. What you do is really motivating and inspiring.
