Waterfront is a registered charity that works to support the community. The concept was originally formed in 1998 as a training area for a small group of friends who enjoyed socialising through training together. Today Waterfront works with local, regional and national partners to tackle a wide range of social issues ranging from inactivity to anti-social behaviour, utilising sports as the vehicle for positive change.
Waterfront has grown to be a community venue engaging mainstream and hard to reach groups. Delivering to individuals and communities our programmes aim to develop physical and mental wellbeing, whilst encouraging confidence and increased self-esteem. In addition to our on-site sessions, we work with schools, colleges, universities and religious faith groups.
